change in baffles question
#2
It shouldn't as even the quiet baffles are a decent flow compared to stock. Are you using a fuel management system?

Yes, I have a PC III and have tried various maps. After changing to a K&N air filter and trying BCT baffles, it began running hotter than before. I changed the baffles back to the original V&H and still running hot. Changed air filter back to original SE and still running hot. I ruined the quiet baffles getting them out, but have ordered new ones. With the original map that was in the bike when I purchaed it used 2 years ago it pops and cracks like crazy. It still does that now, but idles really bad and somestime dies. With the map that I was running last year, it idles okay, pops and cracks some. It never did last year. I am wondering if something else is wrong? PC III gone bad??? I want to take to get dyno tuned, 1 1/2 hr ride, but need to get the temperature thing figured out first.
Any ideas would GREATLY be appreciated!!
Thanks,
Larry
