Bike says Please? Back says no!
Just a short rant. It's a beautiful day here in the Myrtle Beach area. Currently it's 76 degrees, partly cloudy, almost no wind. What a day for a ride. Yet here I sit in front of the computer because I threw my back out 3 days ago. Even worse, I have a hot blonde begging me to ride and I can't swing my leg over the saddle. Or get on the bike!

Take 3 aspirin, rent and watch on any Sunday, and you will then feel good enough to go for a ride.

not sure what the root of your back problems are, or what you've attempted to solve them, but if muscular related (spasm/locked up), in addition to pain meds and anti-inflamtory meds (I've found Naproxen, or double dose of Aleve equal to prescription Naproxen to work best to reduce inflamation, personally), moist heat to loosen muscles, ice packs to reduce inflamation, depending on what is needed, the one cool thing I've discovered in recent years is a product called BIOFREEZE.

I prefer the spray on kind, because I can reach anywhere I need to w/ it. My chiro turned me onto the product. I don't know why it works better than other things I've tried (bengay, icy hot, etc.) but this stuff acts like ice on your back, but also seems to release meds into/below your skin or something. I've found it helps w/ recovery while laying around, but I've also found it helps if my back is messed up and I still wish to go out and be active, ride, play golf, or whatever. When you're really laid up, there's no easy fix, I'm just saying for future reference, it may be worth looking into.
Good luck getting back in the saddle.... and getting backn on the bike!

Take the vicodin, stretch, ice your back and drag your *** out there! Tell the hot blonde to help you get a leg over then go. You can do it. I'm free by the way, and my back feels fine
