Excellent. I like hearing "feel good" stories.
As far as the traffic light trigger, in SC a motorcycle is legally allowed to turn on red (yes left included) if after waiting 120 seconds, your vehicle (m/c) falls to trigger the light. Obviously you're going to make 110% sure it's clear for you to turn before doing so. You're also asked to contact the state to notify them of the faulty trigger. They say they'll fix it. I have used the rule a few times but not the 2nd part of it. No tickets. No issues.

ROFLMAO
I love the trolls that drop in from time to time. It is sooo funny to hear their "opinions" of what is right and we are all wrong.
We need to start pools to see how long this one lasts before it gets banned like the rest.
BTW, cool story by the OP

Like I said in another thread, my bike is only loud when I get on it HARD. The rest of the time it's pretty quiet. A Harley with straight pipes is ALWAYS loud and obnoxious.

Racing troll. LOL ---Time in the 1/4 and top speed? Extended swingarm? Turbo's?
an '05 Hayabusa with ported polished heads, 1397cc kit, deep dish pistons on drag radials with a Brock's sidewinder. I'm out at HRP in Baytown running the 1/4 just about every weekend when I'm not in the Hill Country, the Natl. Forest or at MSRH raceway. Look for me.
My bike's loud because it has to be. The power it makes calls for it.

consistent 8.5s. NA bike. Stock swinger. Just the bore, headwork and exhaust. (USB PCII, dyno tune, lowering links, dogbones, airbox mod, PAIR mod, Ivan TRE) 60 ft times in the 1.4s. Top speed is irrelevant in the 1/4 but my garmin says 204.
