I agree it is all about respect. I would never get in someone,s new car or truck just because they leave it open. And I expect people to stay off my bike unless they ask. I've had several people ask if they could set there kid on mine for a pic and I always say yes, but I've had a couple of females that just hopped on like they owned it and that has always peed me off! It's just that some people don't realize what the bikes mean to some of us. To some they're just machines or toys to some of us they represent alot more. either you understand or you don't !!!

I think the subject here is "friends". If a friend wants to sit on my bike, that's fine. If its s "stranger", then game on

Oh hell no.

I've seen too many folks pull their buddies bike on top of their drunk ***!

I keep big, yellow "DO NOT SIT ON BIKE, ASK FOR ASSISTANCE" tags in my bags just for such an occasion.

Some people just don't know the rules and will make an "innocent" mistake that'll give everybody a bad night.

I kept them as a lark, but they wound up coming in handy more than once...

No one is sitting on my bike unless I hold it up. No one is going to rev it up again, I learned my lesson. I,m not interested in riding your bike or letting you ride mine. I like my bike and I,m tired of being a nice guy and having it cost me money.
My bike is now off limits to the human race.Look, listen ,don,t touch.

Kill them, and they'll never do it again, simple as that. After all, it's your bike we're talking about. At least shoot them in the kneecaps!

Some people act like thier bike is made of gold. They should keep it locked in the garage at all times.

Follow up to this... Some buddies and I rode over to meet some friends at Ft. Thunder Harley in Moore, OK. We pull around and park against an island in the parking lot -- there's a couple of other bikes sitting there so I think that's the spot. We walk in and chinwag for awhile. We go to walk out and there's some guy sitting on my bike with people standing around him!!!!

I walk up and give him the, "Uh, can I help you" statement and he says, "Oh, this is yours?! I thought it was one of the used bikes that lined up here." Turns out... I parked in the "Used" Harley section and the salesman was about to sell my bike!

We had a good laugh about it but I was about to come unglued with some guy sitting on my bike. Especially one I didn't know.
