Help...need to get our dog off my back
Trying to figure out how we can bring our Yorki with us on our FLSTCI without doing the backpack type kind of deal. I was thinking about getting a used saddlebag and cutting a hole in the top just large enough for his head to poke out....of course lining it to make it nice a comfy for him. Has anyone tried this or do you know where I could get anything like this? It gets too cramped for me with him in between us on the bike.

Hey SGT,
If you do end up putting the pooch in a saddlebag make sure it aint the one over the exhaust pipe... Im thinking it could be a bad idea...

Gosh, Sarge...
The title of this thread scared me (almost scarred me)!!! It's bad enough having a dog on your leg!!!
I've encountered quite a few pooches that have the mellow attitude, confidence in their friends ("owners") and just "matter of fact" style to do this sort of thing very nicely... it never fails to bring a smile to me when a pair of "friends" like you two cross my path!!!. Nothing of substance to contribute except a "thumbs up" to you and your riding partner!!!
Jim aka kiltiemon (I think a former roommate's cat would have been an excellent riding buddy. Absolutely mellow, confident, laid back, zen-inspired, 32 pound maine coon!!!)

You guys/gals are great...have ideas and other possibilities now. One of my goals was to try and not add something to the bike....but if I have too, I will.
Again, thanks for the great ideas.
