How much difference can a seat make??
#22
I put Mustang seats on my Sportster and Roadglide. Before I got into RG's I regularly did 300-600 mile days on the Sportster (2000 1200C w/ Progressive front and rear suspension). A good seat makes all the difference in the world. If you plan on touring get a good seat!

Hubby has a Mustang on his 2005 Dyna Wide Glide Makes the world of difference on this bike.
I still have the stock seat on my 2007 Heritage Soft tail Classic. I have very little problems with it.
On both bikes if we are going on long trips over 300 then we will be using our gel seat pads. That helps

A seat can make all the difference in the world as you are sitting on it while on the bike. We reshaped a seat and it is so much more comfortable. Electric carving knife works great and a little extra padding depending on the kind of seat you have.

My last seat cost me about $23,000. Thank God it came with frame, wheels, engine, wimpshield, radio, etc......Made all the difference in the world! My old metric just didn't cut it, couldn't ride for more than a couple hours. Now I can ride all day, 8-10 hours. (Oh, stock seat by the way)
