I was so excited to take my '09 NT for the first "road trip" this weekend. I am going to be leaving for Chicago this afternoon to meet up with my wife and son and go the the Cubs game tomorrow. It is about three hours from where I live in Iowa and this was going to be the first time for me to get out and open the bike up for a little distance riding. Now it looks like it is going to be raining all dang day! Guess I will just take the truck.

 

Grab your rain gear and ride. Riding 3 hours in the rain is better than driving 3 hours any day.

Why not go for the ride the bike can be washed later. Rain gear you don't get wet. Remember about your feet and hands when gettin rain gear.

 

Did you guys miss the part where he said it was for a Cubs game? Probably not worth the trip even when it's nice out. Heh, heh.

I have to go from left (iowa) to right (chicago) on this map and the storm is going right across where I would be riding. Call me a fair weather rider, I don't care, I'm not going to just bust out the rain gear and go at it. I only have 500 miles under my belt on this bike and I think the first time I take on city traffic I would rather it not be in a downpoor.

 

Oh, and don't be downing my Cubbies!

 

Game cancled. come out tomorrow, bring cold weather gear going to be frost here! thx mr. al gore!
