Default Finding part numbers

Is there anywhere that you can look up parts and find out what the part number is like an exploded view of the bike. I know I can go to the dealer but sometimes it becomes a pain. Like for instance I am looking for a air cleaner set up off a crossbones to put on a Street Glide looking for what all parts I will need to change to the round filter and the gloss black factory finish.

I have the crossbones cover on my bike. Do you have a stage 1 air cleaner? If you don't, I don't think it will work to put the whole cleaner assembly on the touring bike.

You can also get the gloss black horn cover from the crossbones

Near as I've been able to figure, if you want to replace the football with a round air cleaner on a twin cam you have to replace the entire unit. Meaning backing plate, and all. There are a few out there and Harley sells the SE one which is the one I bought. It says on the box.....
"FITS 00 + LATER SOFTAIL AND 99 + LATER DYNA AND TOURING MODELS (EXCEPT 99-01 EFI TOURING AND 06-07 CVO FLHTCUSE/2). FITS STOCK BIG BORE CV, AND". That's what it says. I don't know what came after the AND at the end but that's all it says.

+1 on the parts manual....which, of course there is a charge for. God forbid they would have a .pdf file you could download for free

So will the parts manual also give part numbers for gaskets and such. I am trying to find #'s for cam cover gasket, primary, top rocker box, trans. covers, and exhaust gaskets for my 09 SG.

Yes, the parts manual will list every single part on your bike, down to the smallest washer. I wish they had an online microfiche like the metrics.

17386-99 rocker cover gasket
16719-99A rocker housing gasket
17650-02 breather assembly gasket kit
25244-99A cam cover gasket
36805-06 tranny side cover gasket
34917-06 tranny top cover gasket
34901-07 primary cover gasket
65324-88A exhaust gaskets

I think that should get you want you need in the way of gaskets to change out what you want
