Default New pipes

What is your best guess as to what the EPA will do to those of us that have changed to "illegal" pipes and or slip-ons? Will there be any fallout on taking off catalytic converters? I know there is with cars.

I'll bet aftermarket exhaust manufactures will bring out mufflers with cats in them to keep them street legal. Otherwise, how will someone like V&H, Bubs, etc. stay in business?

Dont know what the ethics are with motorcycles, but here, if you have a car that came factory with cats and no longer has them, and you take the vehicle into an exhaust shop, the exhaust shop DOES NOT LEGALLY HAVE TO reinstall cats. It would be a totally different story if you took the vehicle to a shop with the factory cats still on it though. How this stuff applies to moto's, I dont know....just food for thought.

How are they going to tell, you can't see the cat without taking the muffler off.
