Default Fxr models

Hi can you help with opinions on FXR. Been looking for another bike. Came accross Adds for 6 FXR bikes...How are these bikes re Handling, performance, parts, weight, age etc...I have been riding XL883C 2005 for ages & mabee will get an FXR depending. The Adds are for $12500 to $13500 Australian dollar...& there is an XL1200C 2005 @$13900. What to do???? Who would go FXR compared to 1200XL C 2005..

The FXR IMHO is to beconsidered the best handling Dyna series made. I think the FXR went out in the mid 90's. The closest to end of production would be what I would be looking for. Good luck.

I bought a 1990 FXR 2 years ago. I love the way it handles, it's a great bike. The EVO motor is the best!

Ditto on the fxr for handling, just a nice ride, smooth, dependable, and no troubles with getting parts. It's a harley, I don't figure harley or someone else will quit making parts for a long time.
P.S. I ride a 90 fxrs-sp a love the shxx out of it.

The FXR will hold it's value much better than the XL's.
