Redline oil cahnge
Just wondering if any of you guys or gals have dropped redline oil out of your tranny and replaced it with another brand ?? If I decide to do this will I have to flush the tranny out or will the small amount left behind mix ok with other synthetic or mineral oils ?? I am assuming it will be ok but just checking.

I drained out Red-Line Heavy Shockproof last October and replaced it with Rev-Tech 80W-90....Trans is doing fine! The Red-Line was too thick for Winter-time...
With all due respect, the Rev-Tech 80W-90 has less bronze particles in it when it is drained out...I change the trans fluid every 800-1,000-miles...Changing fluid often is cheaper than pulling the trans and changing gears/shafts/forks!!!!

really? that would be like changing it every month! the spec is to change it every 20k, so that is some serious overkill.
