Thumbs down Dr Mecanico cleaner-snake oil

This stuff is crap. I used it 3 different times on my car to give it a chance. Today was it. I sprayed it down with a 1/3 DR & 2/3 water mix, let it sit for 6-7 minutes, sprayed it again, let it sit & rinsed it for 15 minutes. When I wiped it down with my shammy, the shammy turned black & the car was not that dirty. Thumbs down to this snake oil.

Some others like it. They must have stock in the company!

I feel the same way about Pig Snot cleaner.

Watery, runs off the surface and takes a 1/4 of the bottle to do a single wash.

Years back I discovered Honda Brite and I haven't found anything better since.

Honda Brite adheres nicely to what it's sprayed onto, is concentrated, so you control how much you use and is strong enough to damn near eat through your chrome (spray quickly).

Bag on Honda all you want, but Honda-Brite is a 5-star product for me.

Unfortunately the market place is infiltrated with products that do not live up to the marketing hype. Word of mouth such as this is sorely needed to run these peddlers out of business. Thanks for posting.

If you do a forum search you will find some like it but it seems that the majority now doesn't. It doesn't come close to S100. I will try Honda Brite down the road. I bought 4 gallons of Mecanico because the first few reviews here really praised it. Once it hit the forum in mass the reviews have gone downhill. I'll try it for cleaning the deck

Actually Honda brite and Yamaha brite are almost identical products so if you can't find one look for the other when your in your favorite metric market place. And I agree, they are absolutly the best spray and wipe you can buy.
