It always amazes me how some people and its done often, feel they can take univited liberies with some ones bike. I've caught individuals on many occasions. It got so bad I had to leave a cover at work to cover it while working, as a deterrent. Now I am lucky because I can park it right where my office is and look up and see it the whole time I am working.

OK, I'm in the pet store and I see this product that looks like a plastic doormat but it has sharp spikes on it.
The idea is place it on a chair or couch and when the cat or dog gets on they get right back off real quick.

So... How about something akin to a spike strip that could easily be attached across the seat. Maybe something not so obvious but could penetrate a layer or two of clothing and maybe bring some acute discomfort to unauthorized "squatters".
(Fish hooks without barbs comes to mind.)

Perhaps rub a little garlic....
