I don't understand all these people that think just because they ride a HD or any other bike that they are cool. If you are cool you are cool. If you are a dick you are a dick. No amount of money, cars or motorcyles can change that. I am so sick of hearing all this talk of riding my Harley makes me cool. The best part of owning any motorcycle is riding the damn thing! Just ride the hell out of it and quit worrying about how you look or how cool you think you are riding.

I always liked them. but I saw a dude riding a fatboy a couple of years ago. I had a s@#T day at work I was so pissed off!!! I saw this dude ride by me with this BIG *** SMILE on his face!!! I said I gotta get one of those!

My Dad had always had Hondas, which are great bikes. But when my wife started working in the biz with Harleys, that's all it took. I'd think we'd be considered New School, no beards or tatoos, but we like the classic look and feel of our RK.

Someone asked about old school...to me its the non crotch rocker sport bike type of bike....like my Springer Classic vs. a V-Rod....I like the old looks! Of course with better reliability of the new bikes! And yeah there is an element of cool, but I didn't buy the bike to look cool, I thought it was a cool looking bike.

Three words Then Came Bronson, ever since I saw that movie and series I have always wanted a Harley.
Have always thought about chucking everything (except bike) and just taking off, riding from town to town.

A friend of mine was really into Harleys and was always talking about them (this was over 20 years ago!), so thansk to his enthusiasm, I started looking at them, and I just got hooked! 
20+ years later, I have my very own Softail Night Train.
