Default oil filters

What are some of the oil filters that can be used other than H-D

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/oil-r...reference.html. harley filters are made by Purolator. I prefer WIX as they are easy to find and rate high. ACs rate higher but are harder to find.

I use the HD one and just order them a few at a time off the web.

i use the amsoil ones, can get them at local parts shops like carquest.

Use the K+N oil filter, love the nut on the end for easy take off!!!

The HD's seem to have a good reputation. I got a batch of K&Ns but I've read a couple places that they don't filter as good as the HD 5 micron. So far I haven't been able to find the specs for K&N, not even on their website.

Amsoil is my favorite, I believe K&N makes them too.

I am all for saving some money but to go out of my way to buy a filter that is $8 and harleys filter is $10 not worth it for me....
with that said I switched my oil to mobil one and never looked back
