So I'm running down the highway today with my feet up on the crash bars and enjoying this 95 degree heat here in Texas. When all of a sudden, WHAP, WHAP-A-TAT-TAT!!! I run into a swarm of bees. My whole windshield is solid bee guts. One little kamikaze bastard stings me under the chin. The plus is -all those dried guts on my clutch and brake levers made a Rhino lining. How often has bee strikes happened to you?

 

Driving by a beekeepers yesterday, swarms of bees coming from the hives he has put outside. Went through the area pretty fast as soon a I realized they weren't flies but a heck of a lot of bees. I'm allergic.

To bee or not to bee, that's the question.

 

around this time last year I took a bee strike in the neck, Im allergic and I almost dumped it doing 80mph. definitely used up a life on that one.

 

I average once every ten years or so. Got hit a few months ago so I think I'm good for awhile.

 

Just be glad you were moving on the bike.. Ya'll got them killer bees down there.

 

Had one fly up my arm with my Jacket on. The little ba$tard bite me about four times before I could stop and get my Jacket off.

 

I've gotten hit by bees but never a swarm, I got stung in the back of the neck while working last summer cause one of those little bastids flew into my truck, was not too happy...Dont remember the last time I got stung riding the bike though, I actually dont think it has ever happened, I usually have them ricochet of the helmet and it cracks me up everytime

 

Saw my first bee today, a big old bumblebee while layin' in the grass with my bitch.

 

I was riding in southern Arizona and a big Secada beetle splattered all over my visor. I'll take a bee over that any day.

 

I've never hit a swarm. I did have a bee go down my shirt while riding last summer.At first I just thought it was the wind whipping my shirt against my chest.Wrong!He got me.I start hitting my chest like King Kong.Whoever said bees can't sting twice is full of it.A few minutes later he hit me again on my back!Son of a bitch that hurt! I pulled over ASAP on the side of the road and ripped my shirt off.People driving by were like WTF is he doing?
Bee free I resumed my day,with two nice welts!
