Summer Chaps?

RE: Summer Chaps?
NO they won't keep you dry in a real toad drowner but I had sprayed mine with a tent treatment and it kept me pretty dry in the few rains I got caught in. I bought them from a local place in Slidell called JANDY'S IMPORTS. They sell all motorcycle stuff. they cost me $60.00 but was well worth it. Unforunately at the steel pony rally I had them in my side bag and someone stole just about everything I had in the bag, including them. I plan on going get another set though. [] this is the internet site that makes the denim chaps http://www.zone-tailed.com/denim.html

Go to the hardward store and buy a gromet kit. You can get pretty much any diameter you want and punch out all the holes you want in your chaps. Perhaps use a ruler and marking pen first to lay out the pattern and then start punching.

Firstgear has a pair of mesh pants (HT AIR) with full length leg zippers. You can wear your work pants under them, zip off when you get to work. You get mesh, knee protection and they are black !! I found them on the same link provided above.
I tried punching holes in some gloves once----looked like crap !!

I'm really wanting leather. I'm going to call around today.
It can't be that hard to find some. If not, I guess its with the firstgear's.
I'm no small person, and those tapered tight pants don't look like they will come close to fitting. I see they go up in the fatboy sizes though, so ya never know.

I was thinking perforated leather, not swiss cheese

I got a pair of the denim chaps that have the added protection in the vital spots and are still cool. They worked well and if you did fall they would definately help.
