Up here, you can have ANY color your li'l heart desires, BUT, you can ONLY have them turned ON when you are parked. IF you are moving, and leave them on, call someone for bail $$.

No blue or red on the street around here allowed.

Saw plenty of blue lights on bikes including some lit up with bright blue leds on front and back that looked somewhat like a police bike at Thunder Rally. None of the cops they passed seemed to mind on the main strip.

Some guys I know told me that after I'd already installed the blue ones on my SG. So, I only turn them on when I'm parked, but last night on the way home from the Cubs game I saw a bike pass me that had his blue ones turned on. Either he didn't know, or didn't care.

Sorry I was wrong about maryland law

Effective June 1, 2008, Maryland motorcyclists can legally ride with light emitting diode (LED) pods and strips on their motorcycle, provided they do not blink, oscillate, or flash and are not red or blue, as these colors are reserved for law enforcement and emergency vehicles. That leaves amber, green, hot pink, jade, orange, purple, and white.

Too many car-motorcycle accidents are the result of the car driver not seeing the motorcycle. This is particularly true at night. Motorcycle accent lighting can change all that. With the proper products and installation, motorcycles can become highly visible from significant distances.

PA change the law and you can run with the lights on any time as long as they are not blinking, pulsing etc, etc.
