That one looks like it not only got wet, but went over the waterfall. Now I don't feel so bad about the small dent I put on my tank last night![/QUOTE]

Stop making fun of my bike. I think it's purty.

Rain won't hurt it a bit, but when it stops raining you'll have to remove both wheels and dry out the wheel bearings. Oh, and you should change all the fluids as well, just in case any mosture entered the engine.

Keep an eye on the ignition switch....When water gets in there it will cause some intermittent problems...I've replaced a few getting caught up in unexpected downpours! The ignition switch controls power to the coil. If you do get caught in the rain, rotate the keyswitch a few times to move any water out of the way.

should i be concerned with the excessive amount of water gettin on the bike? i dont want to throw the cover on a soaking wet bike...but would that be alright? i just figure it would be better to have it dry in there for long term

Bike got wet...?

Claim it on insurance, they'll total it and get you a new one.

Try to be more careful next time, motorcycles can't get wet!

I would be more worried about it getting stolen than wet. I have a cover. Used to use it when we were on road trips. Havnet used it in a long time. Dont even take it anymore. Dont even know if its still good anymore either. Shoot...I forgot where I put the darn thing!
