.... the movies back then just weren't meant to be real. every flick was pure fantasy.. if like were like that back then, humanity would not have survived.... yea it seems cheezy now..
Some of "more mature" riders took out inspiration from that movie. We were just kids then, to young to ride, so what did we know. Regardless, it's a classic.

Well,yes. And a ham. Lee Marvin was a real biker in that movie. He rode a Harley. His character was modeled after Wino Willie Faulkner. One of the founders of The Booze Fighter MC. Brando rode a Matchless. How "cheesy" is that?
