haha the movie just wouldn't be the same if they rode into town with their bikes on a trailer and started raising hell.

Your right about everything except that Brando was on a Triumph, his own, not a Matchless.

Some of them left town on a trailer. I was wondering how they were going to tie them dowm on that flatbed. lol

Loved the opening scene, how fake looking was that? Notice his hat did not blow off and hair was not blowing in the wind.

Taking a shot at Marlin Brando? You lose mucho man points for that.

Bikes or not, fantastic movie.

I was wondering when someone would bring up that point, but in case you don't remember the 50's, most of the element that was called "Hoods", rode Brit bikes. They were actually better built than Harleys of that era and were considerably faster. Don't ask me how I know.

Sorry. Never did "get" Brando. Marvin was more my kind of actor. A US Marine sniper in WWII. Thats kinda macho.
