Considering Harley has no low cost entry bikes , it's a good thing . Gives people at least the introduction of HD while getting started , a way to move up!
Sun Enterprises in Thornton, Co. sells both Harleys and Hondas. Been doin' it for years. Bought my Yamahahaha there. They re-built 3 or 4 years ago and now have seperate buildings.
Kerstings Cycle Center in North Judson, IN. Its out in a small rural Indiana town, they have a good size HD showroom and a small Yami-Kawi showroom attached in the next building. They also have a large motorcycle museum out back that has everything in there. HDs, Exelsiors, Indians, BSA, Kawi rotary powered, BMW, One-off V-12 flathead, and a large lot of little known euro's and scooters. They have some old Jaguars and horse drawn carages. Its a transportation museum and I have yet to see a HD guy complain about how it wasn't all HD.
In farm country like this they sell alot of ATV's and UTV's. They've been around for 45 years, so obviously they've been doing something right
How 'bout Seattle Harley Davidson (located 20 miles North of Seattle in Lynnwood). I'm sure their sales and service staff are experts on every brand they sell. NOT
