Default Premium Air Horn Kit

Does any one know how loud this horn is ? (HD Premium Air Horn Kit 69423-05) because I have found one on the internet in Chrome which is virtually the same thing without the HD logo for £29.95 ($53) and it gives out 115db @ 2 meters and is a hell of a lot cheaper than the HD kit.

I helped a friend install the Harley kit on his Ultra and I am not impressed at all. I think it's only slightly louder than the stock horn.

IMO the Harley kit not worth the money

Try a search on "air horn' or "stebel".
I put a Stebel compact on the Ultra under the OEM cowbell with the compressor hidden under the seat. Way louder then the stock horn.

I agree..........200 bucks is too much for too ittle. I bought a better (louder) horn from Aerostich for 15 bucks and it does the trick........made by Fiamm and bought the low tone...they offer a high tone, but say if you only want one to buy the low tone.
It is definitely louder than the OEM Hella unit.

If you aren't familiar with Aerostich.......they have a super catalog and website........just for motorcyclists, offering a ton of useful items.

This self contained air horn puts a heart stopping 128db blast from its dual trumpets. The all stainless steel cover is polished to a mirror finish for a long lasting shine. The unit is completely plug-n-play and comes with everything necessary for an easy installation. This true air horn comes with a Full 1 year Manufacturers warranty.

Fits: Harley Motorcycles where the Stock Horn is in-between the two engine casings, on the side of the bike.
Can be installed on all other bikes as well but not model specific mounting brackets are available.
