Finally ahve ridden without a helmet!
I live in CA and have since I started riding. Got To Arizona during the Laughlin run, and rode without a helmet for the first time. Now I see why people fight so hard to have bikers rights and to abolish helmet laws. It was great to feel the breeze in my extremely short hair and not have that brain bucket up there for a while. The first thing I noticed when I got back to NV and put my helmet on was the extraordinary amount of sweating that my head does with a helmet. Anyway, maybe it will be repealed here on eday too. Who knows...

Luckily I can ride helmet free whenever I'd like but I rarely take advantage of it. But I couldn't imagine not having the choice. It is a great feeling.
Congrats on your first helmet free ride.

Laws can be appealed get enough people to fight it ... I can remember at one time when FL had a Helmet law and CA didn't ... Is the reverse now... Always believed in Freedom of choice .. Actually wear a Helmet most of the time but are days enjoy practicing the Freedom of choice especially in hot 90 degree weather where sweat so bad get a headache and can't think straight ... Am sure all these Helmet do gooders never consider that factor...

I'll go helmet-free around town.
On the open road out here in Montana, I wear the helmet, though I don't have to. All it took was a couple of pieces fo gravel from a truck that I thought was far enough ahead.....
