My Wife is Awesome!!!!!!
My son Case was born 8 months ago. Ever since then, my wife has goten to ride with me twice. My mother in law watches him during the week while we work and does her own thing on the weekends. No problem except thats the only time we can ride together.
I have been debating selling the bike and getting a jeep or some type convertable so we could do things and take little bit along too. Family man here . Last night I found a jeep I liked and asked her what she thought.
She said that she loved our harley and loved riding with me as much as she could. It was her stress relief too. She told me she appreciated what I was trying to do, but knew that i would be miserable without the bike and she would miss it too. Lets keep it and try to fiqure something else out.
What a wonderful wife i have.

Indeed your wife is very understanding; however you too should be applauded for being concerned about spending time with your family. You have your priorities right.
My bet is that with the attitude both of you have that you will live a long and happy life together. I hope you do.

Very cool. I will say, though, that the Jeep I owned was about as close to the Harley experience as I could get on 4 wheels. Top down cruising is a lot of fun...not quite as fun as the HD, but way more fun than any other car (convertible or not) than I've ever driven. There's a bare mechanical presence and purity to the Jeep that is similar in some ways to the HD. There's also a camaraderie among Jeepers that is similar to the HD thing.
When my daughter was born, we sold the Jeep and got a Yukon to cart around all the kid stuff. The Yuk is great....but I will have another Jeep someday.
