Just had our baby two weeks ago. I remember when we found out she was pregnant, I thought to myself, s*it, I'm probably gonna have to sell the scoot. I ran it by the wifey and her reply was better than what I expected. She told me she didn't want us to sell it and that was our outlet together. So needless to say the scoot is still registered under my name thanks to my wife... gotta loveem

I don't know that my wife would have the same response as yours or not. I married my wife way before I got my Harley (which I love dearly) but nothing could ever replace or take her place. Sounds like you have a great wife. I know I do. ;o)

My son Case was born 8 months ago. Ever since then, my wife has goten to ride with me twice. My mother in law watches him during the week while we work and does her own thing on the weekends. No problem except thats the only time we can ride together.
I have been debating selling the bike and getting a jeep or some type convertable so we could do things and take little bit along too. Family man here . Last night I found a jeep I liked and asked her what she thought.
She said that she loved our harley and loved riding with me as much as she could. It was her stress relief too. She told me she appreciated what I was trying to do, but knew that i would be miserable without the bike and she would miss it too. Lets keep it and try to fiqure something else out.
What a wonderful wife i have.

We ended up selling my husband's 1995 Wide Glide shortly after our 2nd child was born. When we met, I had a small sports car and he had the WG, and neither made for a good family car. First we bought the dreaded minivan... then, unfortunately, the Harley had to go so we could afford a truck with a back seat for the kids.
I must say, though, that I fought that with all my might! I did not want him to sell it! We went 8 years without it and now he has a 105th anniversary Wide Glide, and some 41,000 + miles on it in less than a year and a half. He's definitely making up for lost time!!
