I'm still wearing mine but to each his own. I could care less who wears what but after losing a couple of friends who weren't wearing a helmet, i'll stick with mine. Besides where would I put all of those cool stickers?

Congrats on your freedom! Not a bad compromise, only have to wear one on the interstates.Better than having to wear a DOT helmet all the time! Score one for the bikers!!

I've always wore a helmet. For 37 years and counting. Just a choice. Early years was more of a roller derby helmet. These days its about protection and quality. I did not wear a helmet when recently roaming the streets of Key West but the speed limit was 30-35 mph and traffic made it less more often then not.

Let's hope that the Governor signs it. Sure wish this would have passed a few years back, it would have saved me going hundreds of miles out of my way, trying to stay lid free, going to the Gathering o the Guard down in Oklahoma.

Respects,
Ed

Always happy to see Freedom of Choice as fast as I roll down the Interstate doubt if a Helmet would do much good anyway...
