Default Advice on helmet for chick - Very small head

Hey guys,

My girl has a pretty damn small head. She wears like XS in everything. We bought a helmet through IronHorseHelmets (GREAT customer support and very fast shipping) but the helmet is just to big. She loves the novelty helmets, so thats what she got. Does anyone have any other suggestions as far as where else to try and get the helmet at, that would fit her small head? Not looking for a DOT helmet.. and yeah, I'm sure I'm going to hear "why buy a novelty, DOT is best, blah blah blah.." so I'll just go ahead and get those comments out of the way.

Anyway, thanks for the help all!

Cheers,
Adrian

Go to the Harley webside, go apparell, click on half helmets, click on to determine size to get size chart. Measure her head with a tape measure, check which on chart, if between sizes, go with smaller one. Probably going to be extra small

Did you check out the dealer? If you dont want to buy one there, at least you can get sized to make sure it fits correctly.
The motorclothes department did a bang up job to make sure my helmet fit properly.
Just a thought.

I told you wrong, after you get into half helmets, click on one of the helmets, then below you will see view size chart, click on that.

Try children's sizes. They are made just the same as the adults. If the XS adult is still to smal ... You can also have it custom fit with extra padding too. Just a thought. Make sure to try different manufacturers ... They all have their own fit and feel.

You might try Daytona Helmets. They even make some really thin DOT helmets that don't look gigantic on your head. Also, they are cheap.

Yea, I read the whole thread to see who would be first to make a comment.

Sounds like a child size helmet would take care of the problem, most aftermarket parts suppliers have a good selection of helmets to try on.
