I have an EXO in Large, and a Shoei TZ-R in large. These mfrs seem to size the same. But I wouldn't buy a helmet without trying it on.

Thanks for all the replies. So the shell is the same size regardless of the size ordered? Must look huge on a smaller head. Nice to be able to use for the wife though.

Just a quick report back. I got the EXO-100 in Medium even though I wear a large in every other helmet I've owned. Fits perfectly. Very well made lid and the flip up internal shield is awesome. I can ride with my prescription glasses on and just flip down the shield to cut down the glare. No problem with wind getting behind the half shield and rattling my glasses around. Also picked up an extra (dark) shield -- very easy to swap.

How is the wind noise when your on the Ultra compared to a regular half helmet?

I have an oval shaped head 7 3/8" and the large puts presure on my forehead. If you have a more round head it should be fine.

They definitely are more round than oval. Picked one up, had it on for a few minutes and sent it back. I have a more oval shaped head, and the pressure on my forehead was unbearable. It was a really nice helmet tho - the built in visor is a great feature. Ended up with an HJC IS-33 3/4 helmet with a built in sun visor. It is a little more oval than the Scorpion.

I always wear a large, and when I got the EXO it felt too tight. but, after wearing it awhile it fits perfect, just had to break it in. I think it's a cool helmet, intercom friendly, and you look like a fighter pilot with the shield down. The shield is a definite plus and switches out very easy. It looks better with the visor than without.
