looking at these helmets

I love my Fulmer! It is very comfortable, and most important it protected me when my head hit the pavement at 70 mph last Friday the 13th!

another old thread. ya think the OP is still monitoring it for tips?
BTW, for those who didn't know, a helmet is only good for one crash...
That brings to mind, do helmets have a warranty? I mean, if you get a head injury lets say at slow speed even, is the helmet automatically at fault?

you must be slow to catch on, or yer comprehension skills are some what lacking...
The question speaks for itself. Perhaps if you read it again you'll get the point.

Last I looked, those Shark helmets were not being marketed in the US. Maybe that's changed. I suspect they are huge beasts to wear....
Full coverage helmets have literally saved my life twice. A Bell in 1971 (it was the helmet back then) and an Arai in 1993. Both helmets were destroyed in the crashes. Wish I still had them, they would make nice conversation pieces.
These days, I wear a half-helmet most of the time. I find I can see and feel and hear things better, and I feel safer, oddly. But on the highway, or on cold days, I wear a Fulmer modular. It's ok. I suspect most of these cheaper (under $400) helmets are made in the same factories in China, and aren't that different. I think there is a real difference when you move to a Shoie, or an Arai, or even a Scorpion. You won't notice the difference if you don't know the difference. But wear a Fulmer for a while, then get a good Arai. There is a difference. But it's mostly in comfort, sound, feel, fit. For simply keeping your scalp off the concrete, one is about as good as another.
