looking at these helmets

I've been ridin with the Simpson Outlaw Bandit with a black shield for a couple years now...extremely comfortable, light weight, looks small for a fullface & looks tuff as hell! Fogs up a little, not often enough to bother me. Sickwithit wears a Simpson Bandit also but I'm not sure if it's a outlaw or street, hit him up!

May not be as good an idea as it looks. They are dirt bike helmets for a reason. They are designed more like football helmets than street helmets. Its long face profile I would think may make you more prone to snapping your neck when the forehead or chin area hits something like pavement. The aerodynamics are kinda poor too at speed. The visors on most, since they are long, will make it feel like your head is about to get ripped off.
Just that they are designed to keep your nose and teeth safe when you bottom out your dirt bike and headbutt the bars. A street helmet needs to be as stream lined and round as possible since it is designed to protect you under a different set of conditions.
Better than a skull cap no doubt, but if you are wanting a full face helmet for protection, then I would have to say go street 100%.
They do look cool though.

Fulmer , it was cheap and I don't find myself wearing one often.. however it is functional and lighter than the half helmet I bought at the dealer when I purchased my bike.

I love my Fulmer! It is very comfortable, and most important it protected me when my head hit the pavement at 70 mph last Friday the 13th!
