I'm an Arai fan. A little more expensive than most but hell, i figure my noggin is worth it. I'll penny pinch on socks and underwear but not safety equipment.

I wear a HJC CL-15 and have no complaints. I usually take the visor off and just ride with a pair of sunglasses. The helmet is cut deep enough on the sides that it is my sunglasses that block my side vision, not the helmet. It was a good choice for me.

In terms of fit, really nice. I took my first ride with it on and it is light IMO, and fits real comfy. Not too bobble head looking either (as much as a DOT helmet can get). I would recommend it 100% personally. I would say get the accessory bubble shield, looks like a space helmet with it!!

Total old school!!!
Looks like that thing I was wearing back in 1973. I sanded it down and painted it black. No wonder they went out of style.

My black full face is a CS-12. I love it, it only cost $100 at the crotch rocket shop and it came in 3xl which i needed cause i have a big head. I plan on wearing it till the foam breaks down and crumbles out.
trying them on is key though. My wife has a CL-15 and it's nice, but she had a lot of problems finding the right size helmets. The icon xl fit her like a small, and she actually ended up getting a medium HJC with 2xl cheak pads. It was nice the way you can mix and match the newer HJC and i think the liner is removable too which my older one isn't

I have had 2 Scorpion full face and currently have an Arai. The Scorpions are well made and fit nice, but the Arai is lighter and definitely moves more air, it's also a bit louder (higher pitched) than the Scorpion. IMO for the price, Scorpion is the way to go for a full face.
