Stalling

Stalling
Just curious. I have a 2004 FatBoy. I have had the carbs adjusted and the idle screw tweaked, recently. Bike has been running great for about a month. After I ride the bike on a long stretch of highway doing about 60 -70 mph for approximately 30 mins the bike gets really hot, which is expected. My question is, once I get off of the highway and start going thru suburban areas (lots of stop and go traffic with traffic lights and stop signs) my bike seems to choke and cough alot out of first gear. It is usually 70+ degree days that this has happened before. Some times it will even stall out if I give it gas while sitting in neutral or starting to move in forst gear from a light or stop sign. Anyone else experieince this? Could the bike be overheating? Could it just be some bad gas? Do I need something looked at...AGAIN?
This happened to me last night. I took it out today and it was running fine again. I was driving it through my neighborhood. Pretty suburban...no long stretches and fastest I went was about 50mph but only for a few minuntes...
Some people say vapor lock but I had a full tank of gas...
2004 Fatboy(carbed)
Any help is appreciated...

RE: Stalling
I have '04 FXD Super Glide and I had the same thing happen. I had it looked at at the dealer but the same thing happened. I went to a local after market shop and the guy told me that the carb. throat was omly 38.6 mm. He told me he would sent it out to bore the throat and re-do the jets. It worked. The price of the rebuild was $400.00 dolars. The H.P. gainwas as most 10 HP.
