IMHO honda screwed up big time with this bike. They dropped there Shadow VLX 600 line for the Fury. The VLX was one of there best sellers for something like 20 years it retailed at 6000 new I think dont quote me, and now the Fury is going to be in the 10's. How does this make sense?

The radiator looks like trash. The bike looks alright, but I like the Yamaha Raider better as far as metrics go. I know a couple of guys who have some custom Yamaha Road Stars that look good, belt drive and air cooled looks more like our H-D's. And thats their goal right....to copy ? They say it's the best form of flattery.

I was under the impression that people in this country can have their own opinions. Friends are over rated anyway. I wasn't trying to start toruble I just don't like Hondas or Rockers...I thought forums were for the free exchange of ideas...guess it's true as long as you don't insult HOG membership or certain models...sorry if I offended HOG patch wearing Rocker owners as it wasn't my goal...LOL

There were a few and they were not bad. There were a bunch of triumph chops as well. In the 70's they chopped everything and anything...still don't like it...day late and a dollar short...

From people around my age what I hear about Harley's is:
I like speed now but I want a Harley down the road.
I couldn't afford a Harley.
I'm not ready for a Harley but in a few years I would like one.
V-Rods are attracting younger riders. It has speed but is more comfy than a rocket. I think the image and prestige of a Harley is still in the minds of alot of people and therefore will lure people in.
