Honda to Take on Harley Davidson?

25,000 on it while owning and riding 3 different bikes. I have done plenty of 300+ mile days on it.
On Biker Build Off they rode them 500 miles to the event where they were being judged.
By the way do you even have a bike? There is nothing in your profile. I'm guessing you have a sportie or soft tail with a bunch of bolt on chrome...

500 mile rides on Biker Build Off, is that supposed to impress someone? I would hope a $50k bike could go 500 trouble free miles.
Yes, I have a bike. But it doesn't have any chrome on it. Don't you know that chrome won't get you home? I spend my money on tires and gas!

I don't care who makes it, it's ugly. What's it cost anyway? *Edit: $13,000.*
And is it just me, shaft drive on a "chopper"???
I think they're about two years late to the chopper party, the custom guys have shifted the trend to bobbers and tighter, compact custom bikes. Long bikes are "out". JMHO.
Finally... I really got a kick out of listening to a bunch of tools (who probably don't ride in the first place) explain how cool and custom this bike is. "Did I mention the chrome?" Umm ya, you did. Bozo.
For the same cash I'd buy a Sucker Punch.

My first impression is of the person that started the poll. The choices are a little, ok I'm thinking a a word, I'll go with bias.
What about;
Probably blow the doors off a stock Harley.
The motor probably runs like a clock.
Probably make someone a nice bike.
I'm sure if we went to their forum, they have the same attitudes and opinions about Harley.

Boy they are gonna love this bike at Starbucks

I saw it at the NYC bike show. It was ok but nothing amazing. They had a guy filling out questioneires. They didn't even have a price for it yet but said it was gonna be around 15k. I didn't like the overall styling

<<< Honda to Take on Harley Davidson? >>>
Competition is always good for the consumers.
Is it too late for Honda? Too late for what? Nothing is permanent in today's market place. I certainly would not laugh at Honda. Thirty years ago, our big three were laughing at Japanese. Guess what ..... Who is laughing now?
We certainly should proud of ours, but not too proud that we loose sight of the competition.
I would say: Honda, Congrats. May the best product win.

Maybe there should be a *Wake Up* Harley option.
Ya like that scoot or not... Bottom line is not many people UNDER the age of 35 (I would bet) are NOT buying a Harley.
So, when those CBR riders are done with the speed, they trust Honda for a street bike.
Young H-D buyers are a dying breed.
Like it or not, Harley had best start to think about that.
What's wrong with expanding the current line-up?

Same old Fury thread with basically the same Honda enthusiasts. Go to a Honda forum to talk about a Honda. Some of you seriously need to get rid of your HD (if you really have one, that is), buy the Honda of your choice, and go talk bad about HD's on Honda.com. If you have more than one brand, remember which forum you're on before you open your mouth.
Edit: Of course, I'm only speaking to a limited number of responders here!
