I was thinking about lower my electra glide classic some and was wondering can you do rear only?

Yes you can basically that is what a Street Glide is shorter shocks in the back.

I have an 05 electra glide classic lowered 1" in the rear ony with no problems

I lowered my Road Glide 2 inches in the back only and it actually improved the handling.

street glide shocks on my road king...made a big difference in the way my feet contact the ground

Thanks I think thats what I will do, I am going to Thunder Beach so Ill check out vendors to see how much it will cost, might get it done there.

mine is an 07 FLHT and I just used Harley's rear lowering shocks
and they work great even with big momma on the back! I got
them from Zanotti's and saved a few bucks to.
