Funny thing is.... Myrtle Beach Bike week HASN'T been cancelled..... The CITY of Myrtle Beach, which has had a "hard-on" against bikers for years, and hasn't issued a "vendor's Permit" in those years... has cracked down on pipes and helmets...

Horry County which HAS welcomed bikers, and IS holding the rally (and has been for several years) is burning.

A bro of mine has a place in Horry Co. His neighbor said so far, the fire is 5 miles from their hood. But smoke and embers are in the area, heavy depending on the wind....Thank God he's got someone looking out for his place and keeping him updated. The wind keeps changing, so no word on evacuation just yet for them. Hope everybody stays safe and they get ahold of this thing quick.

 

The bad thing is that it's actually North MB that is on fire and they're still welcoming us. The area on fire is behind Barefoot Landing . Last year there were a few vendors set up in the parking lot.
These folks were still looking forward to seeing us next month. So if you plan on coming down help them out.
