Default HD Leather Jacket Sizes

Thinking about grabbing one off eBay....I'm 5'10 and around 175lbs. Does that sound like their Med or Lg for those of you of similar size? I know HD publishes their sizing charts, but I've also heard that their stuff has a tendency to run a bit small. Thanks!

you are a large without a dought... it's always best to get a jacket that has a 2-way zipper. This allows you to upzip it from the bottom, best for warmer days and to keep the jacket from riding up as you sit down.
Best of luck.

also 5'10, 180 lbs and 32 inch waist. My LARGE HD leather jacket fits a bit loose but it allows me to layer during winter. I just bought another HD jacket for summer use (nylon) and it is a size MED...fits just fine.

You should take a Large. Ask the eBay seller for the measurements and compare them to a jacket that fits you. I would ask for the sleeve measurement from shoulder seam to cuff, across upper back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam, vertical back from bottom of collar to bottom of jacket, across front from arm pit to arm pit, and around waist or across waist in front and back from seam to seam.

before you pull the trigger on that ebay purchase, be aware that there are a lot of sellers (dealers) that are putting stuff on there with a buy it now price of msrp. check the discounters to see if they have it in stock first. i got a textile jacket from zanottis, msrp 150.00 for 60.00. unfortunately, a lot of the jackets are 'seasonal' and have to be ordered at the dealer show and once they are gone, they are gone.....
