I frankly don't care what they plan to measure. Any city, county, etc. can depend on the fact that they will never see a dollar of mine if they want be known for cracking down on bikes or bikers. I won't stay there or eat there or even travel through there if I can help it, on my bike or otherwise.

I was gonna ride my bike down this May to stay at the in-laws summer house, but now, Myrtle Beach and Whorey County will not see a dime of my money or my wife's money because we won't be there....I hope they don't bankrupt the business owners with their stupid agenda.

You guys are buying right into the MB paper's propoganda. The Horry County meters are only used as static tests when a complaint is made, and the measurement is made from where the complaintant is. For example: Homeowner calls and says noise from XYZ establishment is too loud. Officer responds to their location and takes a measurement from the caller's location. They are not going to be used to for Motor vehicle stops.
