QUIET for the most part here in Pa (lehigh valley) some small towns northwest of here started stopping folks last summer and a place called new hope south of here is a good place to steer clear of.. Not hassled myself yet and bike makes some noise but i generally keep it under control in towns

Not a bit... that's the great thing about riding with 3 LEO's. Their bikes are louder than mine!

If you ride like an *** they'll ticket you.....my pipes are quite loud apparently but I don't go reving the **** out of my bike......out on the highway away from residential areas yes sometimes....but otherwise I'm pretty considerate and have never had a problem with Johnny Law.

Almost scared the poop out of my local yokel yesterday. Backfired right against his cruiser while passing., I was so embarrassed(worried-it sounded like a gunshot!) I took the immediate next left turn and bailed.

Saw him at the bar later and he laughed about it. I guess in my small town there is no big deal about loud pipes. He's a cool LEO, btw.

Skip's is the only Dealership I buy from and the Parts guys are always Cool. Is your buddy Ron????
Yeah, he and I have been all over the map together. His ride name is Partsman for obvious reasons. He used to ride 1200 Sportsters and had to move up to a bagger because of back issues. I agree, Skip's is the only place I buy parts from in that area.

it is something that they have been doing for awhile now.you push it or try to to be seen and the man will see ya.out side of that if a person stay's cool so do they.dont get me wrong i like loud only to a point. you ever try rideing beside some one for a few hundred miles when they have overly loud pipes it's not alot of fun.and i have been on both side's of the coin.

Up here in Canada, pipes have always been an issue. Along with helmuts, handlebar height and especially Drivers licences. Anything thing the screws can do, to hassle us guys on Harleys. As far as there concerned, were all outlaws.

You can always have a voluntary test done, and pay for it to be sure. Do it outside your home county.
