Default Just finished the knucklehead resto. PICS!

I am fairly new to the forum...so, my grandfather had a 47 Harley Davidson FL Knucklehead that was all original except paint. I remember when I was 6 years old, and my father would pull it out of my grandfathers garage and take me for a ride. My grandfather passed away 2 years ago and left us this bike in his memory. The bike has been stored at my father's garage, and my old man being retired and bored started to tear the bike down. So he spent all winter cleaning, painting, and restoring. We just had the tins painted, so we put her back together and the next thing you know we're pretty much finished.

Wonderful job. That "bike" is a piece of history for sure.
My first bike (1959) was a 47' Harley Davidson "74 Suicide" and that brings back many, many memories.
Thanks for sharing.
