First off I love to ride alone or with somebody.My bikes are hot rodded and a little throttle jockeying is always in order.One or two beers is all I want while behind the bars.Some days riding has to take a back seat to other loves,muscle cars,working in machine shop.

 

Because it's fun and I like it.

 

I ride by myself most of the time. Also like to ride with my brothers. I know them and what to expect when riding. NO B.S..

JW if people don't want to ride with you because of what you ride then leave their ***** behind! Both of my bros have imports and I could care less. It is not what you ride it is that you ride that is important.

I just read through most of the posts and see how many people like to ride alone. Then i read other posts about being almost hit by folks pulling out in front of them, being tail gated, and other similar threads.
I like riding in a group of 10 or more myself. no bugs, drafting the bike ahead of you, and tail gunner making sure when you pull out to pass you wont get surprised. you can usually get from point a to b going over the speed limit without a hassle and someone to help if you drop out.
riding alone is like a 1 man football team, your going down and the soccer mom that nails you will swear she didnt mean to...

 

I have a few different groups I have ridden with and they all have different styles. Some people I know can't go more than 50 miles between stops and some I know hate to stop unless they need fuel. When I was younger I would get nerved up because of schedules and having a plan, but now that my kids are older and can either take care of themselves or have other things to do I enjoy no plans and no schedules. I can ride with people with any style and no matter what it beats the **** out of being at work!! I think I may be turning into a parrothead/biker and I like it.

 

I've ridden most of my life by myself or with my OL. I tried riding with a group once and found that there was way too much emphasis on doing what the "leader" wanted to do. Screw that! We have knocked down 800 mile days as well as 200 mile days. If there is something we want to see, we stop. We are on our schedule and no one elses!

 

we just have a great time when we ride together!!

and the ones you end the ride with are the ones to take next time
