Issue With Tour Pack Rack
I posted this in the Softail Section but did not get a reply so I thought I would try it here.I just got my parcel from M&M Cycles today what great people to deal with and 15-20% off at that . Now for my issue...I wanted to use the Tour Pack Rack and my stock backrest but it don't appear this will work . It appears that I well have to use the Leather Tour Pack with this rack in order to have a backrest. Is this the case or has someone got a way I can use just the Rack and my original backrest? Any help please. I also have all the quick detach hardware that goes with the rack. The Rack part #53066-00B.
Thanks

RE: Issue With Tour Pack Rack
That is the way it is designed.....
The Tour Pack is the backrest for either the Rider (Solo Rack) or the Pass (Yours)...
If you want to retain the ability to have a backrest when the Tourpack is off (I am presuming that is the case)...
This is the part you will need...PN 53815-00 is for the detatchable side plates....
You've already got the Docking hardware....
And the Upright and backrest that is currently Rigid Mounted transfers to the Detatch. Side plates....
That way, whether you are running with Upright or Tourpack, momma has a place to lean back on.....
