I don't know how long you have lived in SoCal but remember years when it was snowing as low as 1,200ft in late march and early April. The temps for Big Bear, which is above 7,000ft will be low 26. high 45 for Saturday and low 26 high 58 for Sunday. Little or no snow accumulation is expected so suck it up and ride. You folks got it made if you can handle all the traffic.

Tonight: Scattered snow showers. Some thunder is also possible. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. Southwest wind between 5 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of snow showers before 11am. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 45. West wind between 5 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 26. West wind between 5 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 58. North wind around 5 mph.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 29. West wind around 5 mph.

Hey I live right here in those mountains you're talking about! I don't think we're gonna end up with any snow out here off I-8 though. Maybe the Palomar Mtn area or Mt Laguna but not out here at 4200' where I am. It's been cloudy, windy and a few sprinkles with temps around 40 today. The storm ends Saturday and great looking weather for the next 10 days to follow. You can never trust April weather out here in the mtns though, we can get snow in April sometimes.

Its amazing to me what the sheeple of this country are willing to believe.... A certifiable idiot like al gore and his ilk can sell this crap and people (Mostly libs) take it as the truth, with no proof at all, in fact theres plenty of evidence to the contrary. Makes me wonder if you asked the global warming crowd if God exists, what their response would be. My guess would be they would say prove it. Insanity + Ignorance = Liberal! Ok I'm done.

Two things I do have to comment on, first while I think the idea of pumping reflective material into the sky is pretty extreme there are some pretty hefty bodies looking at that one. What if we just blow this off, saying it is a bunch of nut jobs and then we are wrong? I'd rather have people talking about it then ignoring it ( even if some of the ideas are way out there ).

Second I don't really take the Telegraph too seriously when they report on anything, they are as uber right wing as the Chicago SunTimes is uber left wing. Neither gets my trust!
Well, I don't really follow the telegraph and don't claim it to be fact, but the left wing nuts do claim a lot of stuff to be fact that isn't, that's kind of my point. There are credible sources debunking a lot of these global warming theories, but as this is a harley forum, and I have better things to do, I'm not gonna spend a lot of time on this

As for doing nothing, if the warming wackos are right, it may be better than screwing things up worse and turning us into a nanny state w/ a 70-90% tax rate in the process. I'd rather burn out than fade away, but that's just me.

Al gore, a wanna be that never will be. What a piece of SH_T this guy is. He sure created a lot of problems up here with his visit. Our Government was on there hands and knees kissing this guy's A$$. Dont know if you guy's South of the border know this, but we have this lovely TAX up here along with the other 20 TAXES or so. It's called a CARBON TAX which is added on the to each litre of fuel we buy. First year 2.5 cents this year 3.5 and each year it keeps climbing, till eventually nobody can afford to drive. Oh yeah, we LOVE AL GORE. You talk about a Government CASH COW!!!
