anyone forgot to put kickstand down?

I laughed outloud when I read this.....people in the next cubicle are wondering what the hell I'm doing.

Nope. Each time I park the bike, I put the kickstand down and **** the forks to the left. Take the key out, lock the forks.
Then I stand up, wiggle the bike some to make sure the kickstand is holding before I dismount the bike.

Only once, but it was with my last bike. Never dropped the Harley (yet). I was at a poker run, and everyone decided to take off and start the run all the sudden. So I hopped on my bike, fired her up, didn't realize I put the kickstand up out of habbit, then remembered I forgot something in my saddlebags. Hopped off and... OH SH*T!!!

One time after getting gas, I walked the bike forward a little to allow the next vehicle to move forward to the pumps. When I did the stand folded back a little and I didn’t notice. I set the bike on the stand and walked away, started hearing a little creaking and looked back just in time to see what was happening. I ran, and caught it just as the floorboard started to touch the ground. I was able to muscle it back up before it went all the way over. I thought I was going to poop my guts out catching that thing like that. It hurt!

I did once about 10 years ago. I had my house up for sale and had tried to make an offer on another house contingent on me selling the house I was currently in but they'd turned down my offer. I got a call saying that we had a closing date set to sell the house I was currently in. I got all excited and jumped on my bike to ride over to the house I was wanting to buy to see if the for-sale sign was still up in front of it. The sign was still up and they had brochures on the sign. I wanted to grab one so I could call the realtor back and let them know I would make a straight-out offer. I was so excited when I saw the sign and the brochures that I slammed on brakes and just jumped right off of my bike to grab a brochure. I heard my bike hit the pavement behind me and realized what I'd done. D'oh! No alcohol or drugs involved.
