Default ONE DIED and TWO INJURED IN HIT & RUN

I'm fed up with the F**in' drunk drivers here. What's worse is now they're getting into the habit of leavin' the victim's bleeding to death on the asphalt.

Nothing anybody says, what laws they pass, mandatory blood alcohol, jail time, NOTHING can keep these Mother F's off the streets.

Here's lat nights (sorry I'm pissed, sh*t like this happens nearly every month around here):

Sunday April 5, 2009

ONE DIED and TWO INJURED IN HIT & RUN

Police say they have arrested the driver who, according to police, caused an accident early Sunday morning in which one unidentified man died and two others were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Mario Hernandez-Rodriguez, 21, was arrested today, and police say they will charge him with intoxication manslaughter and failure to stop and render aid. Hernandez-Rodriguez remains in the Travis County Jail.

The accident involved six motorcycles, a Mercedes and a Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Hernandez-Rodriguez at 1:47 a.m. on East Martin Luther King Boulevard just west of Springdale Road, said Corporal Scott Perry of the Austin Police Department.

Perry said the motorcycles and Mercedes were traveling east on MLK Boulevard when Hernandez-Rodriguez, headed westbound, veered into oncoming traffic and hit the Mercedes, then continued in the eastbound lanes and hit two of the motorcycles, Perry said. Hernandez-Rodriguez then fled on foot and was found by Austin police officers and an Austin Police K-9.

One of the motorcycle drivers, a 36-year-old male, was pronounced dead on the scene, Perry said. Identification is pending notification of family. A 30-year-old female, who was a passenger on the motorcycle, and a 42-year-old male, the driver of a second motorcycle, were taken to University Medical Center-Brackenridge, Perry said, where their condition was listed as critical.

footnote: most of the time we don't ride around here at night & especially on weekends 'cause of this kind of sh*t. A few weeks ago, we were riding up I-35 @ 11 pm. Same crap, Some drunk Meskin can't keep his car in his lane looking for somebody to kill.

Did you catch the pick-up drivers name? Probably no insurance to boot and maybe not a valid drivers license.

You guys have gotta stop posting these accidents. This is the 3rd accident post tonight. I hate reading about this kind of thing.

Not condoning the drunk driving or the murder of innocent people but are you really surprised that a drunk would try to run knowing that punishment will occur anyway if they are caught at the scene or down the road. All Madd has done is criminalize drunk drivers without solving the problem of drunk drivers. DUI is nothing but a cash cow for the legal system without realistic or logical steps to prevent drunk driving much less a solution to the problem of alcoholics and drunks.

Need to change the law to murder,if convicted he'll get a couple of years in jail and out on parole and do it again.

Hey, I had an employee from Pampa several years ago by the name of Dave Darce. I guess his family is still there, heard of them ?

Yeah, let's quit talking about it. By the way it isn't only Mexicans, every race has their share of drunk drivers.
