I'm actually pretty happy with Hot Metal Harley in Pittsburgh. They gave me a strong proce from the get go and matched a better deal that I had found and delivered the bike to me free of charge. They always seem happy to see you. HOWEVER I am about to shell out $250 or so plus tax to get my pipes installed. How long should a job like that take? They are saying 3 1/2 hours. I really wouldn't know. At least I'm getting a good deal on the pipes thanks to ebay. I work for one of the largest car dealers in Western PA so I know they probably don't make much on new bike sales but with the price and popularity they have to make a killing on everything else. As much as I don't like that I can appreciate it with my job.

If you don't want to pay, do it yourself.

I wish I could. If I can find someone willing to help me that knows exactly what there doing that is what I will do. I think I could do it myself but I'm not one to try something not knowing and then find out the hard (and expensive) way that I f*d up.

Gotta love the way these threads breathe a life of their own, and go in some wild directions. Oh well, that's what makes them fun to read!

Patriot HD

When they put my bike together, no anti-seize on the rear axel and cross threaded the rear O2 sensor.

Meh, I know how to wrench on my own stuff and I don't worry about these mistakes.

The parts guys know their stuff and when they don't they listen to me even though I'm young. Of course I only wind up usually buying small stuff like gaskets now.

I've never been treated poorly or anything but well.

Anyone in the Washington DC area, go there.

Edited it because lol nevermind...claimed offset?
If you can't take the time to educate yourself before you swing your gate, why should I bother with your dumb ***?
