Man, that just really sucks...I'm 53 and both my shoulders creak and pop, my hips squeak and ache, my eyes have changed and I can't pee past my shoes anymore. If it wasn't for my bike I'd be throwin' myself under a bus.

I hope it all works out for you.

Take it in stride dude and just get better.
I just went through 21 months of right shoulder and left elbow issues after a helicopter decided to turn my body into a superball in the cabin. I couldn't ride for about 11 months without some pretty intense pain. I still get aches and pains, but I figure at 41 I better not complain too much, there are people with much bigger issues than mine.

I feel for ya.....I'm just now 40, and being in the military, it's a young man's game.......it's definitely getting harder to keep up!

Trust me, do the surgery NOW.

I'm really sorry to hear that. My husband had neck surgery on Christmas Eve and is finally taking his first ride today. You are in my prayers for a swift recovery.

Yeah that really sucks. Next time out listen to glebo's advice, but make sure that you use both arms. Don't want to look like Popeye on one side

Hope the new fixes work well for you. My adhesive capsulitis... frozen shoulder in the rotators... is the pits, but managing it has made all the diff. The surgeons are one thing, but tellin ya ... really find the best Physical Therapist that does shoulders, that you can. Finally found the right one, and bikin, kayakin and fishin are all OK now for many years. But the motion no-no's are a fact of life for the duration.
