Congratulations vance and hines
On Saturday April the 4th i have had on order a replacement black heatshield for my big shot duells for FIVE MONTHS..... way to go guys after emails and telephone calls to both the uk distributor and the usa main office the email to say its even been made yet STILL has'nt been sent. customer and service are 2 words i would'nt put together. anybody else had such bad service from this company?

I have a set of V&H Ovals on an RKC.
I had my right baffle begin to rattle a couple of months ago.
I called customer service & was told that they had realized there was a design flaw but the baffles had been redesigned now.
She then gave me a price on two, ordered.
I sort of felt like since they had sold a flawed product, they should have made it right for free.
Anyway, I lucked, & I do mean LUCKED into a pair of the exact ones I needed from another HD Forums member.

I went to their corporate HQ as I live in the area when I was in need of the bracket for a set of pipes I bought used and some bolts. They gave me the whole thing for free. I always prefer to call than email as email is unreliable at best especially for customer service.

I too called them for heat shields and was told they really don't stock them. They gave me a price (about $100 each) and was told it could take a few weeks until they actually made them. Well it did, 3 weeks for 2 heat shields!
