I know this may sound sad but it is true. My wife actually loved Harley long before I bought one. We owned numerous motorcycles and I told her I would never own a Harley and she sat quietly waiting for me to change my mind. Come to find out she wished I had bought the Harley years and years ago....

I have to sneak out to get a ride in by myself. My wife, Kat, loves the bike and calls it "our" bike. About 70% of my riding is done 2-up.

I asked mine "Which you SHE wish to have... a SeaDoo or a Harley? She said Harley and I did not bring it up again until I order it. She now says she thought I was kidding. I WAS NOT KIDDING, but she fortunately supported the purchase!! Whew!!!!!!

I am an active duty Marine and ordered mine while deployed to Iraq. A few days afer I got home I told her I was going to the dealer to pick up my bike. This was in August of 2005. She was a little stressed at first but I think she is coming around. She later bought me a set of leathers for Christmas.
No complaints here.

after selling my sporty told my wife i might wait a year to get a new bike and catch up on some bills. she told me if i didnt
go buy another bike right away she was leaving me for some one with a bike.

My ol' lady gets tired of me working on and talking about mine all of the time, but she would not let me sell it if I wanted to (I don't want to...Never have). I told her when our 6 month old gets big enough to ride with me, she is going to have to learn how to ride her own...She agrees.

How about growing some sack and living life on your own terms! I really don't think anybody should be telling anybody how to live life! My wife would never tell me I had to get rid of something thats a passion to me!!!!
